Pédro, Ponpon, Picotin, Basile and the others await your arrival to go and explore the Southern Alps. Their agile hooves are tailored to the mountain paths, allowing you to discover the Mercantour’s magnificent scenery in complete serenity. |

The discovery walk A taster to tempt you further afield, this short walk starts at the donkey stables and allows you to explore the village outskirts while trying out the donkey itself. The circuit takes half a day or can be extended to last a full one. |

Hike, trek Head off on a more thorough exploration of the Mercantour lasting two-to-seven days and spend your nights under bivouac. Possible destinations: the Millefonts lake region, the hamlet of Mollières and even… Italy! [sorry in french!] |

Beauty spot : Valdeblore A transverse valley perched between the Tinée and the Vesubie, this green land (that stretches from the black forest in the South to the Mercantour mountains in the North) takes in diverse countryside, from alpine terraces to olive groves. The commune of Valdeblore is made up of four villages: La Bolline’s orchards (alt.1000m), La Roche built up against the rocks (alt.1100m), St. Dalmas: a medieval village with Xth Century church (alt.1300m) and the ski resort of La Colmiane (alt. 1500m). The mountain hamlet of Mollières, buried right in the heart of the National Park, can be accessed by crossing the ridge. |

These prices include the hire of a donkey with packsaddles, panniers, halter and brush. The animals are placed in the care of a responsible adult who has civil liability insurance for each member of his/her group. The trips are unaccompanied.
